Not all happenings can or should be interpreted as signs or omens. As this was not a naturally occurring phenomenon, (someone had to place that bird in your mailbox) I would be inclined to see it as a stunt pulled by someone, most likely an unthinking adolescent.
Yes most people consider a dead bird in the house as the sign of a bad omen. Birds are considered by some to be the harbingers of death.
A dead bird is said to be an omen. This is believed by many to be a sign of bad luck.
you will turn inside out
It's bad for the bird. . . .
No. It just means a bird is in your tree.
Well, honey, finding a dead red-headed woodpecker on your porch is just nature doing its thing. It's not an omen, it's just a sign that the bird met its unfortunate end. Maybe keep an eye out for any predators lurking around your property, but don't go reading too much into it.
I think its an Italian superstition that when you see a dead bird, bad luck will follow. I wouldn't say it's a omen, since all things happen regardless, but it's more of a sign to be prepared for something you may see as bad to happen in your life
it means the Rabbit Mafia has it out for you.....
The Pious Bird of Good Omen was created in 1967-09.
No, it's just a bird doing what nature programmed it to do.
It is not any kind of omen.
It is not an omen, it is not even particularly lucky either
