Some physicists believe it to be a pull or attractive force. It is a force that seems to be tied at the hip of matter. The Real question: what is 'Gravity' and what is its source? If one is of the camp of thought, that matter is the 'source' of 'gravity', the the answer is PULL. So because of this and the measurements that have been made to determine the mass of the known visible universe, and that the number is way larger that was predicted by previous theory, they came up with 'Dark matter' and 'Dark Energy' to explain the difference.
If the source is, 'that which is not matter nor photonic energy', then what you have left is an unknown property of 'space' and its vacuum. If at every Point in 'space' there exists a dynamic force that goes equally strong in all directions in normal 3D space, that matter attenuates, then the answer is that gravity becomes a PUSH. And the measurements would be correct for this kind of scenario, with no need of 'dark matter' or 'dark energy' to explain the extra mass.
Thrust, Pushing, and Gravity all have the same affect on objects of matter, as each causes the object, that is matter, to accelerate. A planet like earth, acts as an infinite mass plane to a cross-section of space. Smaller cross-sections of matter are accelerated toward a larger cross-section. The average density of the matter cross-section also affects the strength of the attenuation. Thus, the sun and Jupiter, are gravitationally the strongest, while the rest of the planets of matter in the solar system are less strong gravitationally.
Gravity is a pull (mutual attraction) between masses. All masses in the Universe attract, and are attracted by, all other masses. A relevant example would be how the moon attracts water in the oceans to form high and low tides.
The force of gravit is a pull, or we would be pushed away from the sun, and we would push away the moon.
it is a pull
how is the force of gravity diffrerent from the force you apply when you push or pull something
Force of gravity is a pull force. Earth has this force. The earth pulls us towards its center so that we are standing on it. If it was to push we would be in space now.
A push or pull that acts on an object is a force.

everything that gravity can have a push or a pull

It's a push Gravity Pushes ...
Gravity is a pull from the earths core. it is known as a "force"

It is a 'pull' when you are falling, the gravity 'pulls' you down. But the Air resistance will 'push' you back up, making a force either a push or a pull

Gravitational Pull, push, or force.
force push pull magnetic strong
A push or pull that acts on an object is a force.
Well, there's pull, push, friction and gravity.
gravity, weight, push, pull, and driving force
