Maple syrup is a pure substance. It is made from the sap of the maple tree. The sap is slowly boiled down to soft ball stage and then bottled. Nothing is added except maple sap.
Apple juice is a mixture.
no apple juice is not a pure substance
it is a mixture
YES obviously
mixture
Even if the apple juice is labelled as '100% pure', it is still a mixture of water particles, sugar particles, flavour particles, and vitamin particles. So it is a mixture, not a pure substance.
its an element. an element is a pure substance. apple juice is a pure substance since it doesn't have other chemicals and such in it orange juice is not since its got all that pulp stuff in it, even without the pulp its still thick.
No, grape juice is not a pure substance.
no
Tomato Juice is a mixture
it is a mixture
It is a mixture!
It could be either and should say which on the container.
According to the 7th grade science book I teach out of - a pure substance can only be an element or a compound. Tomato juice is a mixture of tomato solids and water. It cannot therefore be a pure substance using "science language". However, if I use tomato juice to make chili for example, I certainly want it to be "pure" tomato juice, if you know what I mean.
