Not until you begin finding it difficult not to take it, which seldom takes very long.

I believe it all depends on the person. Some are hooked from the first hit and some find it extremely easy to be an occassional user. Alot of people say there is no such thing as an occassional meth user, but really there is. Meth is a mental addiction not physical so someone with an addictive personality has a much bigger chance of letting the meth control them instead of them controlling the meth. it is possible I have crossed the line, then found my way back to the other side and I became strong enough to use only 2 or 3 days per month and be happy with that.

Can you become addicted to Oxycontin from using 2-3 times a week?

It depends on the strength of the pill, how you take it, and how long you use it. Anything can become additive if you are someone who has a low tolerance for them.

Do you get addicted to meth right away?

You mean, do you become addicted to it the first time you use it? No, that is absolutely, 100% false. Unlike alcohol and opiates, speed (amphetamines and methamphetamines), as well as cocaine and benzodiazepines (Xanax and Valium) are not physically addictive, meaning that a round-the-clock user will not suffer physical withdrawal symptoms if they suddenly quit. They won't get sick, the way an alcoholic or a heroin addict gets sick when they suddenly stop using. Speed, cocaine, and benzodiazepines are not physically addictive, but they have a high potential for psychological addiction. When someone uses these drugs on a regular basis, they build up a tolerance to them. They are so accustomed to being on the drug, that they actually feel normal when they are on it, and they feel distinctly abnormal if they stop. They feel as though something is missing from their brain when they stop using. When you are psychologically addicted to a drug, the craving to do it is constant and almost irresistible. Doing meth once will not create a psychological addiction. In order to become psychologically addicted to speed (or cocaine), you need to do it at least once a week for a couple of months. However, drug use is a slippery slope. You may think that, since you can't get addicted to meth from doing it once, that it is safe to use. That is not true. Chances are, you will love the way it feels, and you will be strongly tempted to do it again. And again. And again. And before you know it, you are addicted. There are some people who are able to use hard drugs (cocaine, speed, heroin) without getting addicted, but for most people, doing just a little bit, every once in awhile, just isn't feasible.

Can you test someones hair to see if they have crystal meth in their system?

No. Hair testing doesn't indicate the drugs in someone's system; however, the hair does keep a complete history. It can take up to a week for meth or any other drug to show in a hair sample, but then it stays. Hair testing labs generally test the last 6 months of hair growth.

What will clean meth out of you system to pass a drug test?

A good detox program and time. Like most drugs (except for marijuana), crystal meth takes only a few days to leave your system. Like, 3 or 4 days. Maybe a week if you're an extremely heavy, long-term user. A detox product shouldn't be necessary, since you really ought to be able to stop using meth for just a few days. If you can't stop using meth for just a few days, then you might want to start searching for drug rehab clinics instead of jobs.

How Long Does crystal Meth Stay In What if your blood If You smoke it?

I have been smoking hi-quality crystal meth in low quantities (1/4 gram daily) almost daily for 10 years, much to the chagrin of my family doctor. I got the flu & was sick for 1 week. After about 8 days, I resumed my normal activities but before I resumed smoking the meth again, I pinched a nerve in my back & had to be hospitalized for 4 days. On the 9th day of my hiatus from smoking, I was given a blood & urine test. I was positive for meth... One time users or low quantity users should do fine in 48-72 hours if they flush with a head shop staple like "Vale" or its equivalent. Long time frequent users, as myself, may want to give themselves 10-14 days to insure their system to be meth free...
