Is this child a child of the marriage between you and him or is this child a step child? What ever, the child is just that a child and needs to be cared for and nutured by her parents. You and your husband are adults here. Your husband needs to also give you some attention and know his boundaries when it comes to the daughter and to you. Maybe he feels he is between a rock and a hard place trying to please the both of you. If this child is a step child then you knew he had her before you married him and he came as a packaged deal you knowing that if you married him that his children would be a part of your marriage also. He loves his child and you also. Don't ask him to make a choice,its not fair. If he is lavishing all his attention on his daughter then you need to sit down with him and have a talk and tell him how you feel about the situation. And let him know that you would love some attention as well from him.
