In the not-too-distant but more innocent past, I can recall radio spots of major league ball players hailed as ( heroes) by literally grabbing kids and pulling them away from unsafe traffic situations! Strangely, these incidents have not happened of late, maybe more safety precautions at streets around ballparks!
