If you straighten it every day then yes, it damages your hair because of the heat and makes it look dry and if you carry on it will damage the cuticle and your hair and will cause split ends. It depends what style your hair is but i would say straighten your hair once or twice a week and have the ends cut off regularly, and perhaps use a moisterizing shampoo and conditioner to maintain a healthy look. i would recommend Aussie, paul Mitchel, clynol, maybe john freida, hope it helped :')
