Is it cheaper to fly on weekends or weekdays?
Timing when you fly is just as important as when you buy. Though airfares can be fickle and inconsistent, cheaper flights are typically available on weekdays, as opposed to weekends, and during non-rush hours. If you cant avoid major holidays, like Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving, national long-weekend holidays, and spring break periods in March, a good rule of thumb is to try to travel when everyone else doesnt want to.
It totally depends on various factors like your dates of departure and return & which airline you are going to select, and others. If you are flexible with your dates then it will save money on your travel expenses. If it is not required, then you can avoid travel on weekends. Weekdays are usually cheaper than weekends.
