Can you add optimizer plus to a pool with the solar cover on?
It's not possible to add optimizer plus to a pool with the solar cover on. You will need to remove the solar cover from part or all of the pool in order to put optimizer or other pool treatment products into your swimming pool water.

Add the height of the pool to the 15' width of the pool. Then add the width of the deck to the 24' length of the pool to obtain the right measurement.

Leave the solar cover on - day and night. During the day, cover will absorb the heat from the sun and transfer that heat directly into the water. At night, the cover will help to retain the heat absorbed during the day and reduce evaporation. Hope this helps ... The original purpose of a solar cover is the ability to have the sun (err, solar) heat the pool thru the cover. If the cover is off during the day and on at nite you've wasted a $100+. C'mon, lets use a little common sense.

Not so much the pool or the water but it will plug the filter in no time at all thus reducing the quality of the water and the chlorine levels.

They are the same thing basically. Pool Cover, Solar Cover, solar Blanket are all used interchangeably. It's basically some material, usually a plastic bubble mesh or vinyl covering that goes over the pool. The exception to this is Winter Cover which generally is heavier and designed to protect your pool during long winter months.
Why isn't my inground pool getting warm?
Not a lot of information here. 1. Is the pool heated? 2. Does it have a cover? Usually a heated pool needs a cover to keep the heat in the pool. If it isn't heated and there is no solar cover then the air temperatures are simply not warm enough to raise the water temperature. Other factors can be things like ground water and wind, all of which create greater heat loss.
