No - texturizers contain CHEMICALS, but that does not necessarily mean natural hair is automatically healthier. There are people who have healthy chemically-treated hair & there are girls with natural hair who have unhealthy hair.

And I recommend you use moisturizers like S-curl or Hawaiian Silky they're at most urban hair supply stores.They keep your hair from being dry ( because we have thicker hair we have to hydrate more ). I went natural ,and cut all my relaxed hair off in 2009 and started texturing my hair .With in a year now it's down my back...
