In a rural area, most people do not have a problem with foxes, they are opportunistic feeders and may just be looking for rodents...good for getting rid of rats and mice.

As a free range chicken farmer I use my dogs to deter foxes from hunting near my yard.

A fox will soon lose interest in hunting in your yard if you just scare it away.

No you should not kill a fox or any wild animal but deer ,elk, moose and caribou. All the animals on earth are nature and part of are environment. Animals are here for us to watch play with and enjoy spending time with. Some people may have a wolf or a fox as a pet. Say it is on your property and it is in your hen house. you do not get your gun and shoot because they are just hungry for some grub. also you shouldn't use their fur for cloths and more. it just isn't right our planet needs animals so we will have company not food. if a fox was in my coop i would not kill it i would just let eat a chicken or two.
