my tounge was super swollen and some days be less swollen than others, i find if you eat more spicy foods it will swell abit more but that may just be me.....my tounge was swollen for about 2 weeks and i was super concerned but it healed fine and i have no problems with it now :)
Tongue piercings will swell for a minimum of two weeks, this is not unusual. Keep on the cold stuff and watch out for overly spicy food and food that are too hot temperature wise. Swish and swallow cold water after everything you eat or drink that leaves a residue on the tongue. Avoid dairy products for the first five or six days, these products can support bacterial growth so just be sure to rinse with cold water only after eating these products....
You will survive and end up with a good piercing if you look after it correctly.
