Yes, this has always been one of the first indicators for me. It starts with the ovulation pain I usually experience each month for about 48hrs, and when I conceive, this discomfort seems more acute and continues for much longer. It is sometimes like a burning tingling sensation that radiates into my hip, and this generally subsides over a period of two to three weeks, by which time, I have taken the test! This has also been confirmed by ultrasound each time, in that the active corpus luteum is always seen on the ovary I have ovulated from.

Yes, mild cramping is normal in early pregnancy. For me it felt like that little bit of cramping I would get just before my period would start, the mild cramps that let me know bigger cramps would be coming. Only in early pregnancy, bigger ones shouldn't come. Mild and slightly uncomfortable, but not excruciating and dibilitating in the way period cramps can sometimes be.
It is never normal to have pain during pregnancy. Mild cramping and uncomfortable twinges are common during the first trimester of pregnancy. If you are experiencing pain you should call your OB/GYN.No. It's normal to feel nausea, discomfort and an increased urge to pee. Pains are not normal and should be investigated.
