Is it ok to date your best friends brother?

Of course it's not wrong. If you weren't friends with your best friend and met her brother then there would be no difference. Unfortunately, depending on your age (if you are in your teens to early 20s) your friend may have a problem with you liking her brother only because sisters look on their brothers in a different way. Example: "Yuk! You like my brother! He's a creep!" Most sisters and brothers go through this. She won't see what you see. On the other hand, she may be happy if the both of your dated. Remember, there is nothing wrong at all liking your best friend's brother. When I was younger I too cared about one of my girlfriend's brothers, but unfortunately, I was far too young and he hardly noticed I was around. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with liking you best friends brother! If fact I am in LOVE with my best friends brother, she knows I like him. I am just to scared to tell him that I love him. We have so much fun together we laugh all the time when we are together. I think a little part of him knows that I like him but we are both extremely shy so we dont really say what we are thinkin, in fact the only time we dont feel shy is when we are together. i like my best friends brother allot but he is a year younger then me but its the same storie with the storie before me he like me and i like him allot but we r to shy to tell each other but my best friends like always joking that i do like him but i always say no i don't because i don't want her to know but i play with him at recess all the time like every day because he is so nice to me

It may depend. Is it just a little crush, or is it "love"? If he likes you back, there is no reason that you shouldn't be together, although you must think about your best friend's feelings. He or she could find it awkward, feel happy for you, or be totally ticked off at you, but no matter what don't let them control you. Just because he or she may hate their brother, that is no reason that you can't have feelings for him. They may even refuse to hang out with you anymore, but don't act vunerable, because that may be what they want- you to feel terrible and dump their brother. no i do not think it is wrong to wanna be friends with your friends little sister i am basing this on my own personal experience but if you were horrible to your friends little sister for example if you pushed,punched or kicked her it might take her a little while to want to be your friend but all you gotta do is show you wanna be her friend by showing little gestures like laughing at the jokes she makes even if you do not think they are funny or you could try smiling at her everytime you see her if you have her bebo.myspace etc try making an effort to speak to her every time she is online

Its always okay to like him but if your planning to ask him out, ask your friend first because even if she's just the slightest bit upset by the situation it can ruin your friendship. Also, when you ask her, make sure she's not faking that she doesn't mind if you think she is then don't go ahead or at least try to get her to tell you what she really thinks.
