I think that it probably is as it says that it is pasterised in its pack. This means that it has been heated to a high temperature to kill bugs, and in fact you don't have to store it in the fridge which I think says a lot about it being safe. i have read lots of answers but no one has actually pointed this out.

Cats should not be fed foods that contain spices or other seasoning, as their stomachs have not evolved to handle such foods and can cause harm to the cat.
