If I remember correctly, you are not supposed to drink anything through a straw. This is because of the suction that is created in your mouth when using a straw. It can cause the scabs in your mouth to come of prematurely causing possible infection problems.
You cannot drink thru a straw for 24 48 hours you could get a dry socket so if you wanted to drink a smoothie you would need to use a spoon or you would need to just drink it out of the cup
Sure, water is perfectly safe.
yes
applesause and smoothies
You can eat & drink, the dentist always says that. i got my a couple teeth pulled, and i ate about 2 hrs before that. So you should be ok!
If you brush your teeth regularly, it shouldn't be a problem. Stains maybe.
rotten teeth tooth decay getting you teeth pulled out getting hyper
yup just had them pulled and am drinking some now
it hurts some times but not always
You should wait at least three days.
Teeth are disposed of in the clinic together with the rest of the biohazardous material. If a little kid is getting the tooth pulled, sometimes they will be given the teeth to leave out for their parents, er uh, tooth fairy.
Personally I would drink several, and top it off with a stiff shot of Brandy, but then I don't do too well in the dentist's chair. You had better ask your dentist or, if you have already had the teeth pulled, perhaps consider waiting a day or two to avoid any possibility of undesired reactions with whatever drugs might have been administered.
2 hours
I'm getting 3 teeth pulled tomorrow and I was told not to eat or drink anything for 6 hours. I will be going to sleep though so if your not it might be different. I wouldn't drink alchohol anyway because it might mess with the meds they give you. I would just stick to water and if you need, try and take a "calm" pill before you go. I was told that I can take .5MG of Xanax an hour before. Hope this helps and lots of luck to you. http://kennywrites.blogspot.com
Ask your dentist, but usually not because liquor can thin the blood.
