No. A computer is a tool like a typewriter and can only provide data, but not teach data. It can give facts, but not how to think or invent/create. If a student doesn't understand a concept a computer can't explain it in a different way. People also learn through different modes and a computer only uses two....touch and sight. According to a recent theory through Harvard's School of Education called Project Zero it's director, Dr. Howard Gadner states we have 9 intelligences . We use a combination of them to learn and to process information, so a computer only teaching method wouldn't use the best methods for teaching. Our school system today doesn't use all the means that are possible to teach, but computer only limit it even further.
