Is it possible for someone to be a narcissist in every aspect but does not really devaluate you until after the relationship ends?
It isn't just narcissists who can do this, but some of us do it as well. For example: You leave your ex husband and later tell a girlfriend or your new boyfriend what a creep he was, etc. That's considered devaluating as well. Narcissists are perfectionists in their own mind (most aren't) and they also consider themselves always right (everyone else is wrong) and they feel they're intellectually superior to those around them (and most aren't.) Forget what this person is saying about you and those who know you won't listen and those that do were never your friends in the first place. Move on. I would think it's unlikely. What's possible is that you're being devalued from the onset, but you don't realize it until the relationship ends.
