Yes, it is possible to delete videos from YouTube. You can only remove videos that you have uploaded yourself. To remove one of your videos, follow the steps below. Remember, video deletions are permanent!
- Sign in and click your username in the upper right corner of any YouTube page.
- In this drop-down menu, click Video Manager.
- Check the box next to the video(s) you'd like to remove.
- Then, click the Actions button at the top of the page. From the drop-down menu, select Delete.
As soon you delete a video, it will be unavailable for viewing. However, it may take some time for video search results and thumbnail images to disappear from the site.
