i am sure that there some risk, there is risk at any age when you get pregnant, but as long as you are healthy everything should be ok, i am also 39 and am trying to conceive and through all the research it all basically says just that, if you have any doubts talk with your doctor and get a check up and get started on prenatal vit. as soon as possible getting your body ready for that little bundle of joy is really the best thing,
