Smelling it too much is a problem. That is like smelling a... Sharpie or Hand Sanitizer. Clearly if you smell it to much you could get high... Also with a major migraine. I don't recommend it.

Apparently, spray deodorant also works, but it does take more time. And your whole room will smell like deodorant. But if you don't have remover, it works.

Not sure about the gasoline part but if you have diabetes you can smell of acetone on the breath and urine. Check it at the doctors because it's a serious condition when you are pregnant.
I'm not sure, but I do know that it can give you brain damage, damage a bunch of other parts of your body and possibly even give you leukemia. I'd suggest not to smell it any more.

Isopropyl alcohol does, indeed, give off a fairly strong odor as it evaporates... but airing the place out would rectify this. The odor would be gone fairly quickly as isopropanol evaporates pretty fast. This odor isn't like nail polish remover, which is primarily acetone.

The answer is yes. The smell has numerous amounts of chemicals which can harm your brain... There are some nail polish companies like "Acquarella" that don't have a scent though there could be a smell that we can not detect that is not as bad for us as other nail polish smells...
Acetone dissolves nail polish. You can get the kind with gelatin, fragrance (questionable tho because the smell of acetone is so strong), dyes and nail conditioners, or you can just go to Home Depot and buy a quart of acetone. They do the same thing.
