No, it is not safe to play with any piercing. Playing with it excessively can cause irritation, infection, scarring, etc. You should never touch your piercing unless it is to clean it, and even then, make sure your hands are washed.
Yes, it is. Too many people don't take piercings seriously. The only people who should pierce themselves are the pros. By piercings yourself, you're risking serious infection that can lead to death, disease contraction, and scar tissue that will prevent re-piercing. Cartilage is especially dangerous. If you do get an infection, the cartilage can collapse and stay that way permanently. The only way to sterilize any tools/needles is to use an autoclave. The only way to have the same environment as a pro is to sanitize EVERYTHING. The costs of the cleaning products would be more expensive than just going to a pro. Yes, people get away with piercing themselves but that's just pure luck. Piercing isn't some kind of game. Professionals have to get licenses and take classes to be adequate piercers. Don't jeopardize your health just to save a few bucks.
Cartilage piercing is safe when done by a professional body piercer in a controlled environment using aseptic techniques and materials. Piercing guns are not safe and 9/10 cartilage piercings done with a piercing gun lead to secondary complications.
yes it is.I just did mine and it turned out fine.
My sister got it done and it's fine... i mean if you are infected to the type of metal... and if it's not done professionally that's the only time it's not safe
It depends on which side you prefer. It doesn't matter which side you get pierced.
Well that depends on how you got your tragus pierced. Contact me dirrectly on my message board on this site.
I have had my Tragus pierced on both ears, and went swimming almost right after getting the piercing. Mine was fine.
i got my tragus pierced yesterday and it hurts pretty bad. it heels about 3 months or so
I think you're referring to the tragus
Tragus
of course you can. i do, and I've had mine done for a year.
Until it is healed, or at least 6 weeks
Tragus piercing are done by professional body piercers and are never ever to be done with a piercing gun due to the risk of misfires and deep tissue damage.
After getting my Tragus pierced I waited until 2 months to change mine as it was still hurting , but when they change the bar in the Tragus it can be quite painful so just putting it out there and don't change jewelry in the Tragus when it's infected it really hurts
Anywhere from $25 to $35, anymore than that, you're overpaying.
Tell them that there are always worse things that you could be doing. like drugs or facial piercings hahaa. then a tragus wont look so bad after all...
