If there is any thing in the use of Ouija boards, and I think from some experiences I have had there is. It would depend on how well your head (as in you own identity) is screwed on. If you have any leanings toward paranoia or schizophrenia leave it alone especially if you are ill. At worse the consequences can be dire. Whether the effect of the powers that are used come from within or from outside, I don't know but I have seen people go loopy as a result of using them carelessly.
