Typically when a professional sports team moves from one city to another the idea of it being socially responsible doesn't enter the equation. It's almost always a financial decision on where they can get the best stadium, and how they can grow the fan base so that more merchandise can be sold. Socially responsible is typically a subjective matter which can be tough to gauge. It will hurt the city they leave but benefit the city they move to. Does that offset the two?
