Yes it is very bad for a 18 year old girl to fall in love with a 14 year old boy because for one their is 4 years difference. For 2 I personally think it's not right to have a 18 year old- supposed to be an mature adult falling in love with a young inmature little 14 year old boy. I don't think he knows what he what's in life yet.

On the other hand, as you people should already know that you can't choose who you fall in love with, it just happens. If the 18 year old falls in love with a 14 year old boy then she can't help that's who she loves.

The difference in maturity between age 14 and 19 is incomprehensible to a 14-year old. What seems like love at 14 can eventually (in several years) mature into something beautiful beyond the wildest imagination of a 14 year old, but at 14 - or 15 - or 16, a kid is just not ready for an adult relationship. That is the reason that children under age 18 are considered "Minors" and protected by the law. If a 14 year old is attracted to a 19 year old, that's fine, but they need several more years to mature before they will really understand adult love. At 14, kids may believe they are in-love - and they may be - but it won't be the kind of mature love they will be capable later and it would be a sign of developing maturity NOT to act on it for several years. The best course of action at that age would be to remain good friends with the 19-yr old and build on that friendship for at least another 4 or 5 years before getting serious. If it's love, it will last. If it's just a crush, it will fade and great embarrassment, heartbreak, and serious negative consequences (like teen-age pregnancy) will be avoided. If the 19-yr old is a decent person they will not permit anything more than a friendship with someone as young as 14. Any 19-yr old who would take advantage of a 14 year old is either in need of serious counseling (because they are extremely immature and not ready for ANY relationship much less one with an under-age child) - or a jail cell.

WARNING: In most jurisdictions if a 19 year old has sex with a 14 year old it is statutory rape - so think very carefully about the kind of relationship you want to have right now. As you get older the age difference may not be so significant but at age 14 it is HUGE!!!

No, it is not wrong to like an 18 year old when you're only 14. My boyfriend is 18 and I'm only 14. Just be careful, because a lot of relationships like that are mainly about sex and with that age difference the 18 year old can go to jail if there is any type of sexual intercourse.
