yes. ZnSO4(s) + Pb(s) ---> Zn(s) + PbSO4(s) also if this reaction were to take place with a Pb4+ ion then it would appear like this; 2 ZnSO4(s) + Pb(s) ---> 2 Zn(s) + Pb(SO4)2(s) either way lead can react with it. The only thing that may be incorrect about this balanced equation is that i dont believe this is one of the few reactions that fully react. It probably sits in equilibrium, which you mostly learn about in higher level chemistry. (the equilibrium arrow is basically two half arrows sitting on top of one another pointing in opposite directions.)
Copper is more reactive than zinc because copper has a lower reduction potential, making it more likely to lose electrons and undergo oxidation reactions. In addition, copper is closer to the top of the reactivity series than zinc, indicating its higher reactivity.
Zinc is the metal that will replace iron in an iron solution through a displacement reaction because it is more reactive. Copper, gold, and lead are less reactive than iron and would not displace it in a solution.
Zinc is more reactive than copper sulfate. When zinc is placed in a solution of copper sulfate, a displacement reaction occurs where zinc displaces copper from the solution, forming zinc sulfate and copper metal.
because in table of re-activity of metals it is below zinc
No, Florine is the most reactive element that is why it cannot exist in its original state and it is never never available in its original state Electonic cofiriguration:2,8,18,32,18,8,1. for more details contact me at deviprsd21@gmail.com
Iron is more reactive than lead but less reactive than zinc. It is commonly used in construction and manufacturing due to its relatively stable and corrosion-resistant properties compared to lead and zinc.
There are many metals that are more reactive than zinc. To find out which these metals are, you can look at a reactivity series. Some examples of metals more reactive than zinc are sodium, potassium, magnesium & aluminium.
Yes, mercury is more reactive than zinc. Mercury is a liquid metal at room temperature and reacts with many elements and compounds. Zinc is a solid metal that is less reactive than mercury; it only reacts with certain acids and alkalis.
Zinc is more reactive than Lead nitrate (See Displacement Series). Therefore, Zinc will displace lead in lead nitrate: Zn + Pb(NO3)2 -> Zn(NO3)2 + Pb
Copper is more reactive than zinc because copper has a lower reduction potential, making it more likely to lose electrons and undergo oxidation reactions. In addition, copper is closer to the top of the reactivity series than zinc, indicating its higher reactivity.
Because zinc is more reactive than copper.
more reactive than copper. In a displacement reaction, the more reactive element will displace the less reactive element from its compound. Zinc has a higher reactivity than copper on the reactivity series of metals, allowing it to displace copper in the reaction.

no becauswe the aluminum is more reactive than the zinc.

Zinc will corrode first when welded to copper, as zinc is more reactive than copper. This can lead to galvanic corrosion, where the zinc sacrificially corrodes to protect the copper.
