Light is both Visible, and Invisible. It depends on what frequency of light it is, and also what Species you are. For example, we Humans can't see ultra violet light but some animals, like Snakes, can see it.

The Sun gives off more invisible light because the Sun gives off all the light in the Electromagnetic Spectrum. Radiowaves, Microwaves, UV rays, Visible light, X-Rays and Gamma Rays. I might have missed some but I think I got all of them. The only kind of light we can see is Visible light. Therefore, the Sun gives off more invisible light then visible light.

Yes.

Light is both a particle (photon) and a wave (electromagnetic).

You can see light if you were in outer space, which is a vacuum.

No. Any time light enters your eye, you know about it instantly, as long as the

wavelength falls within a certain range, and the intensity is large enough.

Yes and no. There are different types of light. Some visible (in the visible light spectrum), and some not (such as inferred). Though, all light is invisible until it bounces off a surface.
