It is the worst insulator because all the small holes in it makes all the heat that it is holding in come out.Plus it is bad to the enviroment.

ANS 2 High density styrofoam is an excellent insulator. -Some people just don't understand that all styrofoam is NOT the same, it comes in many grades.

Yes, but it burns dirty. Lots of black smoke.
yes, it is extremely flammable. it is made from oil that is why only specific types of Styrofoam should be used for houses
