They are not exactly the same. Loratadine is the active ingredient in Claritin (and its generic form), but the "D" in Claritin D refers to the decongestant, pseudoephedrine... so, Claritin D is a combination of loratadine and pseudoephedrine. It's basically like combining regular Claritin with regular Sudafed. If you have no congestion, you don't need the "D".

No, loratadine is used to treat itchy eyes, sneezing, runny nose, ect.. It is an anhistimine. Adderall is an amphetamine used to treat add, adhd, or narcolepsy.
