Best Answer

Absolutely not.

The only thing to be careful is that one does not commit a sin before marriage with the person he/she loves. For example:

1) Not to look at the woman/man with lustful thoughts

2) Not to come in physical contact with the woman/man

Of course, after marriage, there are no such restrictions.

Love in itself is not haram. It is the opposite. Love is one of the good values that every one should practice it. Aspects of positive love are love to God, love to prophet Muhammad (PBUH), love to who loves God and prophet, love to do good deeds to satisfy God, love to your parents, wife, children, and family relatives, and love to your country.

However, it is forbidden to be in sexual love with a partner outside licit marriage.
