When giving doses of medicine, like antibiotics for example, it is important to get the 'measurement' exact because too little will not kill the pathogen and potentially allow it to become resistant to the antibiotics used, while too much may damage the normal flora of the body severely causing other problems.

a man used measuring system for making weapons, buliding places to live in and every making clothing. Measurement is a crucial part in all of the sciences, but it seems particularly important in chemistry. Some common base units are grams, liters, oC, and moles. Measurements allow chemists to describe substances and reactions in a manner that can be universally understood in the scientific community. For instance, a 1M (1 mole/liter) solution of HCl (aq), or hydrochloric acid, is the same no matter who prepares it or where it is located (of course assuming that there will be a small degree of error). If a chemist says that a reaction of 10 mL of water and 20 g of CaCl2 increased the mixture's temperature from 20oC to 30oC, it would be universally understood.

Without measurement, there is no way to know whether your prediction was correct, close, inaccurate, wrong, or miles off. Even if the measurement is between 'yes' and 'no', you must still be able to give a quantitative answer to your original question for it to have any use at all.
