No there not modeling clay is the one you find in primary schools and play groups because its easy to use and is usually precoloured and dries out. great for children because it doesnt make much mess but your limeted to what sort of thing you can make.
sculpting clay is heaver and usually murky colours it needs to be fired to make it hard but you can do much more with it
