yes and no. Monster Hunter tri is a wii exclusive. But there is Monster Hunter Portable 3rd in Japan. There is no word on a western release but i think it will release in the United Kingdom and Europe possible during August/September

You can only take one felyne comrade with you on Monster Hunter Freedom unite. Monster Hunter Freedom and Freedom 2 do not have felyne comrades. The only Monster Hunter game that lets you take two comrades with you on a quest is Monster Hunter Portable 3rd (Japan only for right now)

There's a fairly rare chance of getting it from a Rathian when you carve it's tail after cutting it off, probably around 8 - 10%. You MIGHT be able to get it from the rewards also. Rathalos can also drop it too. This is in High Rank, not Low Rank or Village.
