Dilaudid would be more potent than Norco.
Dilaudid is roughly 5-7x more potent than morphine where as hydrocodone is .6 the potency of 10mg of morphine. So the hydrocodone would be much less potent as hydromorphone (dilaudid) or morphine.

∙ 11y agoDilaudid is way stronger than Vicodin by relative weight and effects. Standard starting dosage for Dilaudid is 2mg while vicoden is 5mg. To someone who is opiate niaive, one 2mg diludid will wipe out your pain and make you feel like your whole body is a feather/vibrating/thingly and you will most likely vomit. A Vicodin will dull your pain and make you feel kind woozy giddy kinda whirly. In opiate pain management It basically goes like this: (from weakest to strongest) codeine, tramadol, hydrocodone, oxycodone, morphine, hydromorphone, oxymorphone, fentanyl.

∙ 14y agoDilaudid would be stronger. It is approximately 5-7 times more potent than morphine per milligram. Oxycodone is 1.5-2x more potent than oral morphine but not as potent as IM/IV morphine.

80 mg Oxycontin is by far stronger than 10mg of vicodin(hydrocodone). I am not sure the exact times stronger but I had almost like a foot reconstruction surgery and took 10/650 vicodin and the 650 is 650mg of Tylenol and it barely touched the pain and then was given a 80mg of Oxycontin and it took away my pain for about 4-5 hours, but the point is 80 mg of Oxycontin is way stronger than 10mg of vicodin.
