It depends on what school you go to. Most community college programs are two years, but the prerequisites you need to get in also take about 2 years, and you only end up with an associates degree. If you go to a university, they may offer a 4 year program which would give you a bachelors degree. If your willing to pay the extra money, there are programs at PIMA and Apollo. These programs are 2 years total, without any prerequisites, but be aware that there are hospitals that refuse to hire techs who are graduated from those schools because of their bad reputation.

When you say fluoroscopy tech what you mean is a radiologic technologist or x-ray tech. To clear the air, we are technologist NOT technician. Typically a tech goes through 2 years of training, both classroom and clinical, on-site at the hopsitals. When the program is finished, it is an associates degree in applied scinece.
