English literature, english language, ict, the core sciences and maths ( at my school anyway )
No, you only study RE if you want to study it It depends on where you are studing , in some places yes it is and in others it is not Generally now, you have to do at least 1/2 an RE GCSE
Many, 69% have to do RS as a compulsory GCSE subject and many choose out of option to do as well. Overall, 87% of school children studying RS enjoy the subject.
Yes, it is compulsory in Britain anyway
It is not essential to have GCSE Media to be able to study A Level Media however it is a help. However, as long as you have English Language and/or English Literature at GCSE you shall be fine.Personally, I took A Level Media studies without having a GCSE in the subject and I love it! It's a little tough at the start but once you get going everything will fall into place.I recommend doing a little research into the subject and perhaps talk to the subject tutor to see if it's something your really interested in.Best of Luck!

maths and English are both compulsory for a standard grade level.
You need 5 art GCSE'S, 2 religious education GCSE'S, 9 maths English or science GCSE'S and 20 PE GCSE'S
If by RS you mean Religious Studies, it completely depends on what career you want to pursue. For example, if you wanted to do something in medicine you would need chemistry more or if you wanted to become a sociologist (someone who studies society to predict the future of society) then you would need religious studies. However, as it is only a GCSE and not an A level then i would say Chemistry is better, as it allows you more of a choice of what career you could go into. Hoped this helped :) Jake Doran.
They mostly just the normal subjects: history, geography, art, food tech, textiles, product design, spanish, german, french, religion, philosophy and ethics, media studies, business studies, health and social care etc. and normally maths, english and science are compulsory
It depends entirely on which GCSE you are taking. Like, for example, I know that Music GCSE is out of 80 and Maths is out of 200. It varies subject to subject.
its just a normal business studies but you do more work which is worth more GCSE's..
Yes it is. It can actually help you with your English GCSE course as you can use media termonlogy in your exam.
