it depends what type of rock you have really, if you have a rock with crystals in it wont have sand in, if you have a pourous rock it wont have sand in either, but if you have a rock with grains you may find sand in the rock! Answered by a 12 year old lolz

Pretty much right - well done! You do have certain types of rocks ('sedimentary rocks') with sand in them, formed from earlier deposits of sand; but the sand itself is grains of hard minerals remaining from harder rocks that have been eroded away. So the rock with crystals does not have sand in it, but when weathering breaks that rock down, the crystals are left as grains of sand.
Oddly enough, rocks can be made from sand (sandstone), and sand can be made from rocks, through weathering.
Yes it is made of rocks which are been broken down through erosion and weathering, and primarily grains of Quartz as this is highly resistant.
Sand is formed by the erosion of rocks, particularly silica-based rocks. Teh composition therefore varies from location to location.
glotonet rocks are made by sand and minerals being pressed together
Mount Everest is made of sedimentary rocks such as shale limestone etc
Common glass is made from sand, SiO2, Na2O and CaO. Concrete is a mixture of rocks (aggregate), sand, and water.
Glass is made from silica sand, sand is an ingredient of concrete and mortar, sand dunes, beaches and hot deserts are also mostly sand. Sand paper is also made from sand.

No, Egyptian pyramids are not made of sand. They are primarily made of limestone blocks, with granite used for some of the inner chambers and casing stones. Sand may have been used in the construction process for leveling the base and as a construction material for mortar.

No, it's sand is made up of Rocks....
natural sand is not "made" it was formed. when rocks erodes, they break apart. they break up into very small "rocks" called sand.
because sedementary rocks and other rocks are made up of mud, sand and seashells that have been washed into the ocean and hardened into rock
The rocky shore is made up of rocks and sand.
