Yes that is personification
Hyperbole
Personification is, in my own words, giving something that is not human the traits of a human. For example, "the TV screamed for my attention" is personification. A TV cannot literally scream, but it is easy to understand that a loud TV is playing and it is getting my attention.
a noisy clock shouted on my ears to wake me up.,
Metaphor
Personification
Personification in the story "The Three Skeleton Key" can be seen when the author describes the rats as having human-like qualities, such as intelligence and determination. For example, when the rats swarm over the lighthouse in a coordinated manner, it gives them a sense of purpose beyond typical animal behavior.
