Sheet metal is completely ductile. It means it can be used recreated to another object easily. The fabricators can blend it into any shape according to the client's needs. I have installed sheet metal for my construction company. It looks great. I got it installed from Bayview metals at Ontario.
ON the cad offset the bend radius from the internal radius of the sheet metal part by 40% of the total sheet thickness, and measure the chord length of the radius. that will be the developed length.

Hi their not sure what you mean by stain but we get our sheetmetal work powder coated .
Sheet metal thickness can be determined by measuring it. Several specialty tools are available to tell how thing the sheet metal is in actual measurement or by guage, a form of measurement that is used for various types of sheet metal thickness.
They are mild and low alloy metals . the rods are iron coated for a better distribution of the flux metal. They are normally used for general fabrication, heavy sheet metal work and shelving.
galvanized sheet metal Zinc coated sheet steel, to limit corrosion of the steel. The zinc is usually applied in molten form by a hot dip process, but occasionally is applied using electroplating to get a more even coating.
It depends on what you are attaching to the sheet metal. Are you screwing together two layers of sheet metal? Or are you attaching a wooden block, for example, to the sheet metal? metal frame to the sheet metal

Sheet metal refers to how the metal is layed out rather than what type of metal. So therefore sheet metal can be made out of metals such as gold, brass, copper and steel. If the type of metal used is magnetic then so is the sheet metal.
This is an interesting question because as a production guy, I see jobs that are really using the wrong stock for their condition. There are two basic kinds of paper: coated and uncoated. Coated paper has a thin layer of clay on it. You can use brighter colors on coated stock, because the clay keeps the ink from sinking into the sheet. If you spec an uncoated sheet, don't expect to get super vibrant colors because the paper just can't do it. Ink is a whole 'nother story. The most vivid colors are obtained through "spot colors"--ink mixed to a certain shade. Process colors--CMYK--can't give you the super bright colors you demand. I once did a picture of Michael Schumacher's racing Ferrari. Ferraris are painted a very vivid shade of red, and I had to reproduce that. I wound up making a clipping path around the car, putting the clipped car body on a fifth plate, and printed the car in PMS 185 red ink. If you want a real metal look, you are going to print with "metallic" inks, which contain real metal, and varnish at least the metallic ink.
Sheet metal can be made of different materials. It is called sheet metal because of its shape which is thin and flat.
