You can also be sued (in Civil Court) for unlimited funds if you give the person you spit on ANY reason to suspect you may have a communicable disease, since that may put them "in fear for their life". You should also be aware that if someone genuinely DOES "fear for their life" as a consequence of being spat upon, in most communities they can KILL you and not be found guilty of murder! It's also just plain gross and disrespectful.
