Clarke was one of the main architects of Trinidad and Tobago's 1962 Independence constitution.He attended Christian Bothers School then attended ST. Mary's collage. sir Ellis suffered a massive stroke on November 24th 2010 and never recovered, he died December 30th 2010 two days after his birthday. he was a great man and shall be missed, this is a great loss for all Trinidadians
