No. It is under the front hood in most all cars. Read your owners manual and also ask a friend to help you learn a bit more about your car. It will be very helpful in the future.
Try looking behind your glove compartment / corresponding location on engine compartment firewall.
The inside of the glove compartment would not go through the firewall to the engine area. It might have slipped up into the dashboard if it isn't on the floor.
