There are many sound that the body makes constantly: the heart beat, pulsing sounds, vascular sounds, breathing, etc. The reason that you don't typically notice them is because your brain is well adept at tuning the mundane and common sounds out. This is a wonderful thing, because if we were aware of all the sounds inside our bodies, we would never be able to focus on anything else. The best way to hear some of these sounds is to amplify them with a stethoscope.
