No, I don't think so. There ARE two books about the crimes: The Girl Next Door by Jack Ketchum, and House of Evil: The Indiana Torture Slaying, by John Dean (see the Related Links below for the books on Amazon.com). But the books seem to be totally unrelated to the 2007 film An American Crime. An American Crime does not seem to be based on either of these books.
The Girl Next Door was made into a movie, but again, it seems to be completely unrelated to An American Crime, besides the fact that both movies are about the Baniszewski case.
