mutations
recombination/crossing over in mammals
Mutation in parent cells.
Mutation.
Both egg and sperm contain genetic material.
the transmission of genetic material.
Asexual reproduction requires genetic material from only one parent.
Because bacteria have only DNA as genetic material but viruses have RNA or DNA as genetic material. viruses are harmful but most of the bacteria are useful.
For something this general, I can only think prokaryotic and eukaryotic. Prokaryotes have no nucleus in their cell for their genetic material while eukaryotes have a nucleus in their cell for their genetic material to reside.
Both egg and sperm contain genetic material.
yes. it has only one chromosome that holds its genetic material, however they may also have plasmids that contain genetic material
A DNA virus has only DNA as its genetic material.
the transmission of genetic material.
No.They are only in animals. They help in cell division.Genetic material is in chromosomes
Asexual reproduction requires genetic material from only one parent.
no because it is only genetic material encased in proteins
no because it is only genetic material encased in proteins

Sexual reproduction is more advantageous than asexual reproduction because it allows for genetic diversity. In asexual reproduction there is only one source of genetic material whereas with sexual reproduction there are two sources of genetic material.
