Two; vent out all anger against each other, remove all hate for the rest of the year and bring it all out for twelve hours straight. If we tried to pass a law for a purge to be approved, it would fail miserably. You see, in the film America used the purge to drop everything else bad to almost non-existent levels. America has not reached that point, however with all the gun violence, hate, and unemployment, the Purge could become reality if the people and government realized they needed a day for people to commit crimes they would normally do in peaceful times and cause Anarchy. So basically, if we wanted to we could have Purge, but not now. I would love it.
