Yes, the White Tiger is not a species as the zoos would have you believe. They are a mutation, a genetic anomaly. They are most often inbred, Father to daughter/grand-daughter, brother to sister and it's only done this way for their white color. All the offspring that isn't white colored or is disformed are killed or abandoned. Only 20% of the offspring survive, smaller still is the percentage of babies that are genetically healthy. And even smaller still is the amout of white tigers that can be used for showing and training.
