The only addition I have to this answer is that the shortened version is called the Enlistment Screening Test (EST). I have taken it, at the Navy Office. It doesn't count as your score, it just gives them an idea of where your ASVAB score would be for tween they talk possible career interests, and what you realistically can and can't qualify for when you take the actual ASVAB
