Not officially, no. (at least that I know of) However, there are some unofficial ports that some forum members developed. Although they are not official and may contain bugs, they still work and are the only way you can play Terraria on macs (other than bootcamp and wine). Go check the terraria online forums.
No its not available for mac.
Not for any Mac srry ;)
However, if you still want to play, then... Even if it's not official, this is worth a try: Unofficial ports (wrappers) are available on the Terraria online forums. Google is your friend.
There is a Mac version of Terraria, found via the link in related links.

There is no free version. You have to buy it to play it.
No there has not been a version for the Mac.
To use the Windows version of any software on a Mac will require the Windows operating system be installed on the Mac. Microsoft is due to update the Mac version of Messenger any day now.
I do not know the exact version but i do know it is quite old. This doesn't matter however as steam automatically updates it.
Click the apple icon on the dock and click on "About this Mac" and your Mac will tell you the version number.
Yes. There is a 'disable blood and gore' option in the menu of the PC version.

Openoffice, or get word for Mac.
No, sure won't. You need a Mac key for a Mac version and a Windows key for a Windows version. Programming between Mac and Windows is different.
