Is there a math website that can do algebra?
There are many. See 'related links' below for one. Otherwise, do a search in your favorite search engine to find one.
The algebra taught in high school involves doing calculations with unknown or unspecified numbers. These are usually represented with letters, which are called "variables". For more details, read some introductory article about algebra, such as the Wikipedia (article "Elementary algebra"), or read a high school textbook about algebra if you want more details.
well in my middle school you first start off with normal math and if you do well in math then you go to Algebra in 7th grade. If you don't do that well in math you go to pre-algebra. Then if you went to pre-algebra you go to Algebra in 8th grade. If you went to Algebra in 7th grade you do Geometry in 8th.

Calculus is higher than Algebra. There are also courses on Linear Algebra and Differential Equations that are higher than college Algebra. If you contact the Math department of any college they should be able to give you a specific answer as to what courses they correspond with and what a challenging math class would be.

Math is taught like this: Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Trigonometry. Algebra I is similar to Algebra 2, but Algebra 2 has more difficult concepts, such as imaginary numbers. Added: I would have put statistics and trig in between Algebra 2 and Pre-calculus. You review trig in precalculus and statistics is the first transferable math course in college.
Algebra is the backbone of Math. By setting variables in other types of math, like geometry and probability, algebra can be used to solve for sides, angle measures, prove many hypothesis, and much more. Algebra is used more for applications (If 4 pens and 1 pencil cost 6 dollars while 1 pen and 4 pencils cost 4 dollars, how much is the combined cost of one pen and one pencil?) rather than straight math (4a+b=6…
